This one is DEFINITELY one of my personal favorite!! One of the first games I've watched (and played!) and this is a classic. Not THAT scary, but Kouri definitely knows how to put you on edge during the game!! Characters are so sweet, the gameplay is so fun and the aesthetic is amazing. Def recommend esp for starters!! A very nice mix of puzzles and a simple storyline, love that game!!
AND I have played the remake and it is AWESOME!! Kouri added more puzzles and also a feature that allows you to talk to characters in every room, which gave us so much more lines from them!! I loved that!!

By far one of my FAVORITE games. Might actually be #1. If you liked Danganronpa, you will love YTTD. The plot and character development is so welldone and impressive, despite having a lot of characters, Nankidai knows how to make you attached to all of them and I even started loving characters that I HATED at first! No dumb tropes, no status quo despite having a "killing game" plot. Characters who will die will not be thrown away forgotten in a cave and the story will actually still talk about them!! The game has both amazing gameplay and complex plotlines!!!!

It is a very long game, filled with exploration (a LOT of it), side quests and main plot so warning if you're looking for a quick game to play! The story is truly beautiful and so melancolic, and due to the heavy topics it addresses, this isn't a game for everyone! I love how it deals with grieving and trauma, truly a beautiful game!
It has a really fun fighting gameplay!!!
Also I sobbed for the soundtrack bring out your tissues fr

Chapter 1 is the shortest, and is very casual, so you can see it as an introduction. Chapter 2 and 3 are much more plot focused, and i TRULY advise watching/playing all 3 games in one go, especially the last two!! They are tightly connected (duh but you'll understand) and it will give a better experience that way!!
I didn't expect on growing fond of so many characters,,,

Apparently a remake came out recently, so if i can I'll play it and update the guide! But from what I see the graphics looks more detailed and they might have added more puzzles! I really think that you will enjoy playing this, you'll enjoy the spooks and I hope that you can run fast for all the stuff coming at me lmao also literally everything will try to kill you in that house so good luck! :)

If you want to be spooked this is DEFINITELY a go-to game!! As someone who has a phobia of dolls, this was an absolute nightmare for me. But hey it was so worth it! There are a lot of gorgeous illustrations but a lot of them tend to be quite gorey! But it's such an awesome spooky game with nice puzzles and thrill! Also there is also a remake for this one!
This is my personal opinion, but I personally prefer the illustrations in the original game, but that may be out of nostalgia!

There's a nice spookiness to the game, I didn't like it as much as Angels of Death but it is still a nice game to pass the time!!

Literally one of the best games out here, it's not a horror game but MAN the storyline is just AWESOME and the puzzles/fighting system is so fun!!
